Expansion at Aberdeen Grain Continues

In 2009 Aberdeen Grain significantly extended the facilities adding an additional 14,500 tonnes, 3 new 75tph Cimbria Dryers a new office, weighbridges and a brand new lab. Demand for storage led us to add another flat store this year which takes our total tonnage to over 65,000 tonnes.

Work began on Phase 2 in 2011

Our recent crop storage survey revealed that two thirds of existing storage is over 15 years old and over a third is over 30 years old. As the existing storage infrastructure of the industry struggles to cope with increasing demands from the consumer, central storage such as Aberdeen Grain offers a cost and tax efficient option for growers. We plan to continue expanding at Aberdeen Grain for as long as the demand is there from growers.
