Chairman: Ian Cruickshank Ian Cruickshank has farmed at Sauchenloan from 1984 and has been a member since 1988.

Vice-Chairman: George Davidson’s family originally farmed at Bridge of Don, moving to Crichie Inverurie in 1976. He had worked on the farm since leaving school in 1978. He has lived on his farm at Inschfield with his family since 1992, farming both Crichie and Inschfield together.  George has 500 acres of cereals, 140 suckler cows and a small herd of pedigree limousin cows.

Director: Peter Cook operates a farm and rural business management consultancy alongside farming at Roquharold, Kemnay, where he specialises in sheep production and malting barley for Aberdeen Grain.  Recently he was appointed Director of Food, Drink and Agriculture Opportunity, North East.

Director: John Sorrie is a fourth generation farmer and has been farming for over 15 years growing OSR, wheat and barley. He pioneered cold pressing Rapeseed in Scotland, producing a wide range of Ola Cold Pressed Rapeseed Oil products, all done on-farm. Ola Oil is now the premier, quality producer supplying independent retailers, hotels and restaurants throughout Scotland and beyond. John is currently Aberdeen Grain’s Director with responsibility for Health and Safety.

Director: George Grey spent most of his working life as an engineer, with his company Newmech Services, but the farm has been in his family for the last three generations.  He took over in 2005 and grows mainly seed crops, malting barley and milling oats, OSR and winter barley.

Managing Director: Bruce Ferguson is the Managing Director of Aberdeen Grain and sits on the board. He has extensive agriculture experience within Scotland and is also Scottish General Manager for Frontier.
